Second Floor Common Room, Tuesday Night

Soooo, Kenzi had gotten the video she'd asked for from Topher... of various shots of Wes while he was teaching her about guns. And put it to a soundtrack. Then hooked up a DVD player to the TV in the Common Room and concealed it. It was on an infinite loop.

So, at random moments, Kenzi would amuse herself while watching The Spy Amnesia Movie on the Science Fiction channel by hitting the remote button, and having Wes interrupt it with his campaign.


[establishy, open, and likely to be repeated in other CR's if she thinks she can get away with it. Wes's video is nowhere near as complete or complicated as that one, but is mostly shots of him being badass and showing off guns to Kenzi, interspersed with "Vote Wes! For Fandom StuCo! Guarding Your Welfare!"]

Bruce was making his way back to the dorms when he heard some noise in the second floor common room. As soon as he saw it was Kenzi, he couldn't help but feel something suspicious was happening. That was just his usual reaction to Kenzi at this point, though. "Hello, Kenzi. Anything good on?"

"Hey, Kenzi," Petra said as she came into the common room, carrying fresh campaign posters and tape. "What are you up to?" she asked as she looked around for somewhere to put a poster.

If she sounded worried, that was strictly because she'd met Kenzi.

Kenzi hit the stealth input button and they were back to Science Fiction Channel with the third Spy Amnesia movie, and plotting at the moment, not shooting.

"Really? How? And from what?" Color Kenzi skeptical. She's had zilcho to be able to handle Bo-the-insane-gray-monster with, and a gun would'd helped a lot. At least if it were a tranq gun.

"Plenty of random monsters. Most of the monsters last month. Kidnapper turtle-dragons. Giant robots. Goblins. Wolves," Bruce listed. "I haven't had to use a gun against any of those. It seems to me that firearms would be the easy, deadly way to do it. That's not what I'm looking for in a Student Council Representative."

Shuriken and bolas, sure. But that was different.

Strictly speaking, this was not Wesley's common room. However, it could safely be concluded that after years of training on how to deal with difficult teenagers, he had developed a fairly trustworthy sense of when to venture in a particular direction. In other words, a Kenzi-sense.

So that was what brought him to the common room today. However, it was slightly odd when all he found that was noteworthy was Kenzi sitting on a couch, watching a movie on the Science Fiction channel.

"Yup!" There was a random shot of him being pontificate-y to Kenzi as he explained safeties while the cello music kicked in, and Kenzi said, "He was teaching me how to shoot, so this got filmed at the same time. He's got lots of experience at this, from his last school, and learning to fight monsters."

See! He knew useful stuff for being on StuCo! "Who else is running for juniors? Just Caroline?" Who Kenzi didn't really know, even though she saw her at the debate.

And lost. Music with gunfire blasted out for 4.5 seconds. Then disappeared into a parkour scene across Morocco again.
