When the sorority met this afternoon, they would find Rilla and Quinn in the middle of what seemed like most of the pies your could pick up at J,GOB.

"Even though we had a perfectly fine Thanksgiving in Newfoundland," Rilla said teasingly, "you Yankees seem intent on repeating the experience on
Thursday."

"Because this is when Thanksgiving is supposed to be," Quinn returned. Her tone tried to be equally teasing, but fell a little flat. Her sister's disappearance didn't seem to just be a weekend thing."Anyhow, pie's always good, right? So today we figured we'd have pie and just kind of talk about whatever's on our minds."

Sov Thade Tage em Ereb

Sov didn't know much about either the Canadian or the American Thanksgiving, but that didn't matter as there was pie. They helped themselves to a few of them.

Quinn was splitting her attention between eating pie and checking the Facebook pages of every other person she had ever met or heard of in her entire life. Not a lot were missing, but some definitely were. She hated it.

Mercy Thompson

Pie wasn't usually high on her list, but there was an absolutely marvelous raspberry pie that Mercy just had to try.

Annie Edison

Annie figured there'd be a lot of pie this week, but as long as it was a small piece, that would be acceptable. Mmm cherry.

Hanna Marin

Hanna decided a slice of pumpkin pie was harmless. This was a special occasion, right?
