First floor rec room, Friday evening -- iCarly broadcast!

Sam . . . was not so much looking forward to tonight's broadcast. Why?

Well, Carly was in Yakima, tonight. Which meant Freddie was cohosting. With sketches he wrote.

Sam double checked that Baggles, the trashbag filled with yogurt with a face drawn on it, was in place on a swivel chair, ready to fill in if need be.

She had a feeling she would definitely be needing him.

[ooc: OCD is up, and the post is open! Those who wander into the proper threads may well be recruited to do something involving food in semi-solid states!]

Anybody want some yogurt?

"We might have to rely on the B-Cam," Freddie said. "I didn't manage to get anyone to take over camera duties while I'm hosting."

He said all this while half in his robot costume.

"Orrrrrr you could just work the camera and I'll host with Baggles," Sam tried one last time.

You'd think Jack would know better than to leave the room on Friday night.

And yet... Here he is. Walking though the door.

And then trying to get away before anyone notices.

"After I made this robot suit? No way," Freddie said. "We've got a whole robot sketch planned, remember?"

It was, admittedly, an awful sketch. Though Freddie thought it was hilarious.

"Jack!" Freddie said, rushing over before the other guy could escape.

"How would you like a chance to help out iCarly which will absolutely, positively not end with you getting covered in anything sticky or slimy."

"Yeah, about that, are you sure you want to play a robot?"

Look, Freddie, she was even trying to be nice and give you an out, here.

Jack eyed Freddie and Sam suspiciously.

"I don't believe you."

"That's because he can't actually guarantee anything," Sam noted.

She got sticky or slimy stuff on Freddie all the time.

Wait, that sounded wrong.

"So after all the humiliation I've received from you, give me one reason why I should do this?" Jack asked.

"I'll be your best friend?" Freddie said, because he was apparently twelve.

"I'm completely sure," Freddie said, overly optimistic. "I wrote the sketch myself. It's gonna be a huge hit."

It was. But for reasons that Freddie was not anticipating.

Sam groaned. "Fine." Who knew? Internet audiences were fickle.

Mind you, not that fickle. . . .

"But you can't say I didn't warn you."

"Warn me about what?" Freddie said, blindly enthusiastic.

See that look? That would be an indicator of sarcasm.

"Oh! Okay! That the best reason ever!"

Sam facepalmed. "Never mind."

Sometimes that obliviousness was cute. Mostly, it was just kind of sad.

"He'll pay you," Sam offered.

What? It wasn't like she was going to offer any of her own money.
