It was Mothers Day, which meant everyone--or, it seemed like everyone--was busy calling their mothers to wish them a happy Mother's day and make sure their gifts had arrived or whatnot. Anna...well, aside from the fact that her mother had died of a heart attack more than fifty years ago, and hadn't been much of a mother when she was alive, she had also cut Anna's throat and made a deal with a demon to curse her spirit. So no, Anna wasn't so much with celebrating Mothers Day. Instead, she found herself on the roof, sitting on the ledge with her feet dangling over empty air, gazing out toward the sea and trying not to think about her mother any more than she had to.
