Petra had everything set up for the club--snacks, banner, careful rearrangement of seating--before people started showing up. When it was time for the club to start, she stood up and said, "Hey, everyone! So, for those of you who might not know me, I'm Petra West, and this is Pride. If you're not sure what Pride is, or if you've never heard of the term 'LGBT' and think this is some completely different kind of club, please come speak to me and I'll hook you up with some informational pamphlets, because we're not just rainbow appreciation and we're not Self-Esteem Club. Although maybe someone should start that one...anyway, I'm getting off track. Since this is our first week, I thought we'd all go around and say hi, names, et cetera. If you don't want to say anything right now, that's totally fine, if you want to say why you're here that's fine, too. And if anybody has any great ideas for things we can do this semester besides hanging around eating cupcakes--not that I'd be opposed to that--please speak up.

"Our faculty sponsor is Thor, so, thank you for that," Petra said to him ~~if he was there~~. "And...I think that's about it, but if I've forgotten anything please let me know."

Liara had shown up here primarily because, after several months, she was starting to gain some inkling of an understanding why Karolina had remarked upon the club and she was hoping to expand it.

... but apparently they had cupcakes, to which Liara darted once she was sure no one was staring at her.

"My name is Liara T'Soni," Liara said, trying - and somewhat succeeding - not to fidget. "I am from a city on the planet of Thessia. My species has only one biological sex--" That seemed relevant to the topic of the club, right? "--and most asari do not discriminate based on species or gender."

Okay, so. Karolina had technically not signed up. But... But. She turned up anyway.

But she kept to the sidelines, and wasn't intending to really participate, probably. She was just kind of hovering, and looking half like she was ready to bolt at any given moment if startled.

Shush. She had issues.

Thor was indeed here, beaming in turn at each arrival as they sat down ~~or hovered uncertainly at the edges~~.

"Kenzi, from Canada, hetero female. With Toby over there." Kenzi grinned at him. "Lotsa friends who're more interesting, so I thought I'd join. Also there were rainbow sprinkles."
