So far, Isabelle had not been terribly impressed with television, not at least while knowing how big a source of entertainment it was supposed to be to mundanes. Cooking shows were fine, but the so-called horror movies definitely seemed pointless – although maybe she should have sampled some of the ones that didn't involve killer clowns or something equally unlikely.

But today, she'd found something that had actually caught her interest. It was a kung-fu movie marathon. Instantly relatable! Well, in parts. She had a harder time keeping up with what little plot there was, but the fights? She was all over those. Maybe she was even just a little bit too into them, perching on the edge of the couch like she didn't want to miss a second.

Because when one particularly intense fight happened, she instinctively kicked out and hit the table by the couch. It fell over, clattering against the floor as it did.
