The gym- Friday evening
Everything was bothering Sia today, and by the time evening rolled around she'd had enough and headed to the gym for her second training session of the day. She knew rationally that she shouldn't get mad every time someone made a noise or whatever, but knowing that didn't help.
So, time to take it all out on the punching bag. Eventually she'd probably tire herself out and leave it alone...

He had all intentions of spending most of his night outside but he dropped by the gym first. He hadn't really been keeping up with the exercise that Celia had started him on and he felt that maybe he should start correcting that.
Apparently, he wasn't the only person feeling like a gym visit tonight. Nathan even recognized this person and found himself watching her beat the heavy bag without even realizing it.

She looked back and gave him a nod of acknowledgement, then hit the bag again.

"You hit hard." Nathan was not great at talking to girls. Not great at all. But, it was an honest statement even if he was looking at the bag and not her.

He scratched the back of his head. "They don't take you seriously before then?" Seemed like a logical question to him.

But, his eyes were on one of the practice dummies, giving it a few experimental pokes.

Till then it'd be like an exercise.

"As long as you win, I guess getting hit isn't too bad," he said idly, glancing over at her briefly. "And the bag at least doesn't hit back."
He didn't think it did but he'd heard things about this island.

"No, it doesn't." Maybe if she kept her answer short?

"I probably won't ever try and hit you," he decided to say for whatever reason. "So, I'll be in the bag's company."
Maybe he thought he was funny?

"I'm sorry, am I bothering you?" he asked, not entirely sincere. There was a little sarcasm there. "Did I catch you at a bad time or something? Am I not supposed to make conversation here?"

Hitting the bag again instead of snapping.

He watched the bag.

"I only stayed in here because you're one of the few people I actually know here," Nathan explained, shaking his head. "Didn't mean to bother you because it looks like I did. Sorry."
That was all sincere even if he said it to the floor and not to her. His feet were already carrying him towards the exit.

"It's a bad day, I'm sorry. On another day I should be good to actually talk," she said.
