The gym- Friday evening

Everything was bothering Sia today, and by the time evening rolled around she'd had enough and headed to the gym for her second training session of the day. She knew rationally that she shouldn't get mad every time someone made a noise or whatever, but knowing that didn't help.

So, time to take it all out on the punching bag. Eventually she'd probably tire herself out and leave it alone...

Nathan didn't have any problems with mood crystals but he did have issues with staying inside a tiny room at night. That was enough to put him in a bit of a mood.

He had all intentions of spending most of his night outside but he dropped by the gym first. He hadn't really been keeping up with the exercise that Celia had started him on and he felt that maybe he should start correcting that.

Apparently, he wasn't the only person feeling like a gym visit tonight. Nathan even recognized this person and found himself watching her beat the heavy bag without even realizing it.

Nathan nodded back before he took a few steps closer, swinging his arms just to get them stretched out. He didn't say anything for a few moments since that bag was getting all her focus.

"You hit hard." Nathan was not great at talking to girls. Not great at all. But, it was an honest statement even if he was looking at the bag and not her.

Nathan nodded and walked around the gym quietly, giving it a look. It was his first time down here and he'd never really seen facilities like this in his lifetime. Everything looked so clean and new and advanced.

He scratched the back of his head. "They don't take you seriously before then?" Seemed like a logical question to him.

"Do many people try and hit you?" Sorry Sia, he asked questions when he was comfortable enough. When he was allowed and he'd had a good first encounter with you so now he was...asking questions.

But, his eyes were on one of the practice dummies, giving it a few experimental pokes.

See, he was being helpful with her mental exercise and everything. He kept looking at the practice dummy with something close to fascination. Never seen one of these either.

"As long as you win, I guess getting hit isn't too bad," he said idly, glancing over at her briefly. "And the bag at least doesn't hit back."

He didn't think it did but he'd heard things about this island.

Nathan looked back at her, brow furrowing for a second like he was trying to figure something out. But, he couldn't figure out girls so why he tried was a mystery.

"I probably won't ever try and hit you," he decided to say for whatever reason. "So, I'll be in the bag's company."

Maybe he thought he was funny?

Nathan fell silent before he frowned. He didn't know exactly where that had come from but he could get a little defensive even when it came to girls.

"I'm sorry, am I bothering you?" he asked, not entirely sincere. There was a little sarcasm there. "Did I catch you at a bad time or something? Am I not supposed to make conversation here?"

"Maybe avoid taking it out on me," Nathan advised with a slight shrug. "I don't take that kindly to being a scapegoat."

He watched the bag.

That was technically true. He pursed his lips and made a face.

"I only stayed in here because you're one of the few people I actually know here," Nathan explained, shaking his head. "Didn't mean to bother you because it looks like I did. Sorry."

That was all sincere even if he said it to the floor and not to her. His feet were already carrying him towards the exit.
