Uzbekistan Yurt | Thursday Afternoon
After four days of yurt living, Jasper thought he was pretty qualified to say it wasn't terrible but he preferred beds to futons any damn day of the week. It wasn't that they were terrible but they were...terrible. They made his back hurt.
Despite the heat, Jasper was sitting outside today, finally going through the cooler of food he'd been given. He didn't recognize any of it and, after awhile, figured out the reason for that was that the food was native to Uzbekistan.
Because of course.
The good news was that it was constantly filled. So, while Jasper sat side the yurt in some shade, he went through the cooler for something decent to eat for lunch. There seemed to be a lot of manti in there. Fortunately, it wasn't all that bad either. Tasted pretty good, actually.
Pulling a pair of dark sunglasses from his pocket, Jasper slid them on and leaned back against his cooler. He was probably going to get sunburned or end up with a headache but, for now, he was going to enjoy the quiet both outside and in his head.
