Fifth Floor Common Room, Saturday Evening
Waking up in an utterly unfamiliar place was extra distressing when you'd spent your entire life inside a single laboratory facility. The little girl with the oddly-shaped pupils had hidden sat in the room she'd found herself in, curled up with her knees against her chest in the corner, waiting for someone to come find her and take her back to where she was supposed to be.
She had felt a little bit of curiosity, a little desire to explore, but she'd resisted the temptation because she knew she'd get in a lot of trouble if she were caught somewhere she wasn't supposed to be.
Of course, huddling in the corner doesn't do anything about the need for food, and at some point she couldn't resist any longer. Slowly, carefully, she'd stood up, smoothed the light robe that looked quite a bit like a hospital gown more out of nervousness than because it was rumpled, and opened the door to the room. Tip-toeing down the hallway, she found herself in a larger room filled with all sorts of unfamiliar equipment. She had to jump to look on top of the counter to find a box of cereal that someone had left out.
Which was why she was sitting on the floor, leaning back against the counter, eating fistfuls of cereal out of the box and looking around nervously.
[ooc: This always said Saturday, what are you talking about?]

"Um." She hesitated, licking her lips. "Yes?" She peered at him, trying to decide if she should be worried or not.

Then, after another moment, she held out the cereal box to him, her fingers covered with cereal dust. "Would, um, would you like some?"
