Alara had heard from her sister and had been told that their parents were pleased with her progress … which honestly surprised Alara that they’d bothered to give any indication that they were interested in how she was doing at school. There was no other message from her parents so it was back to being the one time a year she heard from them outside of her visits to Xelaya. She wondered if Solana had mentioned that she’d been on a date while she visited … she would have been interested to know her parents response to that.

She decided to distract herself from thinking about her sister and her parents so she ordered pizza and ended up with way more than she had ordered so she ended up in the common room with the extra pizza and was flipping through the TV to see if there was anything worth watching.
