Second Floor Common Room; Saturday Morning [04/15].
That morning, Graham was visited by a tiny little "vampire" who demanded (albeit very politely! She was a princess, after all, and remembered her etiquette classes, so she'd added a please and thank you!) that he make her some choco-chip pancakes, and who was Graham to refuse a little vampire princess? Especially since choco-chip pancakes were his specialty, and it would apparently get her talking, although Graham had a feeling he was starting to piece a few things together, just based on the "vampire" princess thing alone.
Apparently, her name was Princess Genevieve of Daventry, and she really was a vampire, really! She was just a special vampire who could also eat choco-chip pancakes, as well as blood. But not just choco-chip pancakes, but also jellybeans and empanadas. Her father was the king, and she thought Graham was her father because he had her father's adventuring cap, but now she wasn't so sure, because her father was big and strong, and this Graham was kind of scrawny and stringy, but maybe the proof was in the pancakes? And, of course, her other father was the King Consort, and he was the one who made the empanadas, which was, of course, Daventry's national dish.
It was all honestly kind of fascinating to hear the little girl talk about this apparent future, while he whipped up some more pancakes and tried to decide if it would cause a whole fuss to point out that vampires couldn't go out in the daytime, could they? But, then again, Genny did say she was a special vampire! He shook his head and wondered if he should send a text over to Guillermo, he was probably going to get a kick out of this, too!

“Hi,” he smiled, feeling a faint flush start to creep over his cheeks, “oh, who’s your guest?” he asked, tilting his head a little curiously at the girl.
He hadn’t yet worked out it was that weekend, since he had completely missed last years.

A pause.
"And jellybeans."
Another pause.
"And a warm glass of blood, please."
"I already told you," Graham said, placing more pancakes on the table for anyone else who might come in, "we're fresh out of blood right now." He chuckled a little and his attention shifted to Guillermo. "I was just about to text you, actually! This is Genevieve!" Genevieve stopped eating long enough to lift her hands into claws and give a fangs-bearing hiss of greeting. "She's our daughter from the future!"

“Our …daughter?” he half squeaked out as he smiled over at her.
“Um…hi Genevieve, it’s …um really nice to meet you,” he managed to stammer feeling rather shy, “and I can empanadas pretty well,” he said with a smile, “I’d be happy to make some for both of you,”

“And I’d love to join you explore the church and graveyard,” he smiled shyly, “I mean, if you’d like me to join you,” he added quickly.

Which was, clearly, more important, sure, but royal thing were so boring and stuffy and vampires were exciting and cool!

Cue the burst of beaming pride from Graham at that part.
"I think I'll really like turning into a bat one day, too," she continued thoughtfully, "but I haven't figured that part out yet."

Then he paused as he started to put the empanadas out on the tray to put them in the oven,”did you know I turned into a bat once?”
Well it was with Fandom’s help but one day he’d be able to do it on his own right?

"You did," she confirmed, "but not because of being a vampire, it was because sometimes, this island turns people into animals out of nowhere. You've been a bat, and Father has been both a goose and a bandicoot on different occasions, and once, Triumph the Third turned into a moose."
And now it was Graham's cue to look at Genevieve with an expression of confussion.
"A moose? Triumph hasn't been a moose before."
"You told me he was a moose before," she insisted, and Graham sort of shrugged a little bit at Guillermo.
"I guess Triumph's turning into a moose some day," he said. Which was definitely something to look forward to!

“It looks like he is , I bet Triumph will have a great adventure being a moose,” he added, wondering what that would be like.
