I'm not sure what an elevator is, but if it facilitates getting in or out of the building quickly then that sounds like an excellent location!

I wasn't sure what it was, but when I asked someone, they said it was a way of transporting someone up and down without using the stairs.

The view is beautiful, it overlooks a field!

That's rather like the view from my room at home - though I don't suppose it has a ha-ha. Still, you're quite right: it is beautiful and I believe I shall grow fond of it.

And this elevator thing sounds useful. I believe I shall use it to bring up my trunk. Then we can finish settling in, though I truly don't have much to contribute to the decorations - Mama sent me with my own bed-linens and towels, but made me leave the curtains and such in my dower trunk. Which is actually quite alright, as they're mostly far too formal for our little room, anyway. And that was a bit of a ramble. *smiles* To work, then. *Heads down to get her trunk from the box room*
