Pumpkin suddenly lets go of John's chest with its front paws to hang upside down by its back feet from his T-shirt, blinking its big brown eyes and waving up at Zero. John frowns down at it.

"... yeah, 'cute' is one word for it. You wouldn't happen to know if somebody here owns it, do you?"

Pumpkin looks up at Zero with wide eyes, then with the closest thing to a polite smile that it can manage, it flips back up and hugs John again with a renewed bout of purring.

John looks down at Pumpkin with a groan, then flashes Zero an apologetic smile. "Sorry about that. I think it likes me."

John glanced over at Anders and makes a face. "I hope it doesn't do that to me."

Oh, no, that's not a mini-yeti. They're much naggier, and most of 'em are green, though I've seen several blue an' pink ones, too. I don' know what this thing'll do to you, but...probably not that.
