Oh my GODS, what in hell is going on in my room?

Do I even wanna know why I'm NAKED? And why that girl is stripping?

John knocks on the door and peers in, the creature clutching contentedly to his chest. "Uh, hey. Anybody lose their --"

He suddenly notices Anders is naked and frowns. "I don't really want to know what I missed, do I?" He spots the girl stripping and perks up. "Then again ..."

The mini-yetis' bites do this. But we cleared out the first floor common room, so it should be marginally safe for the time being.

Oh, that's so cute!

"Thanks. It's, uh ..."

Pumpkin suddenly lets go of John's chest with its front paws to hang upside down by its back feet from his T-shirt, blinking its big brown eyes and waving up at Zero. John frowns down at it.

"... yeah, 'cute' is one word for it. You wouldn't happen to know if somebody here owns it, do you?"

Never seen the thing before in m'life. Hi, honey. D'you want to come to Auntie Zero?

Pumpkin looks up at Zero with wide eyes, then with the closest thing to a polite smile that it can manage, it flips back up and hugs John again with a renewed bout of purring.

John looks down at Pumpkin with a groan, then flashes Zero an apologetic smile. "Sorry about that. I think it likes me."

John glanced over at Anders and makes a face. "I hope it doesn't do that to me."

Oh, no, that's not a mini-yeti. They're much naggier, and most of 'em are green, though I've seen several blue an' pink ones, too. I don' know what this thing'll do to you, but...probably not that.

John nods, looking relieved. "Good to know."

Steeling himself, he holds out his hand. "I don't think we've met. I'm John Co-- uh, just John."

Zero Hopeless-Savage. *shakes his hand* Pleased to meet you, Just John. You don't live on this floor, do you?

"No, not really. I'm down on the first floor, mostly to be as far away as possible from the principal. We don't exactly get along all the time." John shrugs and looks around. "Guess I'm missing out, being so far away from everybody else."

*waves weakly at John from the bed*

*resist a laugh and waves back*

You live on the first floor?

...how did you miss the kerfuffle at the common room this evening?

John's expression darkens somewhat. "I nodded off while I was going through my homework and ..." He looks away and says, "Well, let's just say if you can learn to sleep through my nightmares, you can learn to sleep through anything."

Pumpkin looks up at John and chirps in a questioning tone. Absently, John scratches its ear and seems to perk up a little.

*nods sympathetically* Well, I'm about to nod off just standing here. Been a long day, y'know, between Janet in the bathroom and the common room and physics class. So, I hate to be rude, but I'm gonna have to beat it. See ya around, John! *collects what's left of the cookies and heads toward 220*

Uh . . . night, Zero . . . nice to see you again?
