Marty slips into the dorm unnoticed, using the whole crazy Hank episode as a distraction.

He swings by a carefully hidden device and removes a small recorded tape and replaces it with a new one.

Before heading back to his room, he lays a carefully wrapped package by the door of room 304...

Which contains:

a A hardcover edition of "The Diary of Anne Frank".

a vinyl 45 of "Blister in the Sun"

And a note...

Yeah. I don't do flowers and someone told me this was your favorite book and song.

Sorry.
-Marty

Marty walks into room 212, puts out sign on doorknob that says "Do Not Disturb" and barricades the door.

(OOC: Sneaky bastard! Angelus would be impressed, if only he had enough braincells to even guess.)

The next morning, Angela almost trips over the package in front of her door. Frowning, she turns it over in her hands as she sits on her bed to unwrap the gift.

She isn't sure how to take the contents. On the one hand, they had certainly been chosen with care. On the other -- there's no way he should know this stuff.

Maybe Marty had met Krakow before he left school? And they'd talked about her? A lot?

She decides to ask Marty about it in study hall.
