ROOMS 239/240

Jack is currently standing in the hallway in front of his door, he has a sledge-hammer slung over his shoulder and loudly announces to the hallway:

"Any of you guys who wants to help break down a wall is free to come help! Just come on in and start helping!"

Roy isn't sure what one is supposed to say to that, but he did ask after all. He shrugs and takes an experimental swing at the wall. The hammer lodges into the wall up to the entire head, but doesn't punch through.

"I take it you arrived here immediately after dying? You can't have been raised from the dead." At least he hopes Kawalsky wasn't raised from the dead-- Roy hass been taught all his life that trying to revive those who have passed away is the greatest sin against nature and science.

Uh, well, for me it felt like right away, but I'm told it's been about 8 years. But the guys who brought me back? Time works different for them. So it coulda been straight away. And I'm not really the original me it turns out. He's a little older. And more buff.

Roy nods. "I plan to be more buff when I'm older." He looks disappointedly at the wall, where he's made a fair amount of damage but not as much as [livejournal.com profile] 2ls_in_oneill.

What about you? Dead, revived, transported across dimensions, clone? Everyone's got a story 'round here you look like you've got one to tell and it has nothing to do with how colorful you are

Roy shrugged. "Everyone is an understatement. Mine's not as exciting as others' I've found. Actually, I'm just a university student in another dimension. I'm studying alchemy, and I plan to be the youngest nationally certified State Alchemist in history. The youngest one to date was 24." Roy grinned delivered a particularly healthy swing at the top of the wall. "I actually graduated high school last year but I guess I got enrolled in this place because I'm still 16."

((OOC: colorful? It's only 11pm. I should be getting these things! Brain, why must you desert me at this early hour? Anyway, you lost me there.

Oh, and most of that stuff about his school I made up for this RP, if you're familiar with Full Metal Alchemist. In canon Roy's an adult character and we don't know anything about his history except that he was a State Alchemist at least by age 22, possibly younger.))

((OOC: Colorful - I was poking fun at the fact that he's an animated character. Have heard OF Full Metal Alchemist, but know nothing about the actual show.))

Different dimension. See? That's an interesting story.

"Sorry. Don't know that one."

double-post EDIT

((OOC: Ah, animated! Totally obvious, yet straight over my head. Maybe I need caffeine. But dude, WATCH FMA. If only to see how I'm probably unintentionally butchering a cool character. And because it's seriously cool and brain-melting and WTF-ful.))

"We've been at this a while. There's at least 5 of us. Why does it seem like we're not making much progress?"

((second post because Roy would never say "Dude" ever ever.))

It's a big wall.
