Room 216

Rogue, supporting a very drunk and half-passed out Cally, somehow makes it into the dorms without incident. The noise coming from the demolition down the hall is deafening, but even it does little to rouse the other girl. Rogue rummages through Cally's pockets, and finally pulls out a key. She sticks it into the lock of room 216--where she is told Cally lives. It doesn't fit.

"What the hell?" she mutters, letting Cally slip to the floor, giggling drunkenly. "Why won't this fricking key work?" Frustrated, she finally throws the keys on the ground, and attempts to pick the lock with--what else? a hairpin and a pocketknife. "At least Pyro's good for something up there." Her denim jacket slips off one shoulder, revealing more of the nightie she wore to the slumber party.

River, hearing the muttered curses and quiet comments just outside her door, pokes her tousled head out to look. Seeing Cally and a girl she hasn't yet met poking around at Lee Adama's doorknob is, to say the least, a bit of a surprise... particularly at this hour.

"Um... hey. Hi. Why are you trying to get Lee's door open?"

[identity profile] river-dancing.livejournal.com 2005-09-16 02:47 pm (UTC)(link)
River smiles at the young woman, suppressing a laugh. "No, no, no," she grins. "Cally's down in 213. She rooms with Joan Girardi." She eyes the pair with no little amusement. "Do you want any help getting her there? She looks kind of ... liquid at the moment."

[identity profile] river-dancing.livejournal.com 2005-09-16 03:06 pm (UTC)(link)
"Yeah," River answers absently, smiling, fascinated by the image of Roy creating a hole in the door. "That's Lee Adama's room. And though he might be tempted by the thought of two beautiful, somewhat inebriated young woman in his room, his thoughts would keep me up all night."

She steps out into the corridor and over to Cally's nearly-prone form. "May I?"

I'm absolutely sure. I'm really grateful for helping me back, but I'm... I'm just gonna go sleep now.

"Come on," River says, smiling. "You get that arm, and I'll get this one..."

Together, they manage to get the semi-conscious Cally back to her feet and down the few doors to her actual room. There's a bit of juggling and fumbly positioning as the three of them stand before the proper doorway, and River finds herself in an awkward clinch with Cally's head nestled on her shoulder. Thinking of the night before (http://www.livejournal.com/users/miss_monochrome/2770.html), she flushes and grins, speculatively eyeing both Rogue and Cally before deciding, Naaahh, no reason to jump into between these two. From the heat coming off both their thoughts, I suspect I might merely be getting in the way.

She pauses, considering. Unless they'd be interested in having me there, of course.

[ooc: we weren't be that slashy, were we? Oh wait, we were. -.- And while this thread is currently resolved, Cally is having a bought of insomnia in the second floor common room (http://www.livejournal.com/community/fandomhighdorms/62239.html), if you want some impressionable young girl to play with interaction.]

[ OOC: Yup, you reaaaaaally were. :) I'll drop into the common room and see what's what. *sighs* Aieeee, the craziness of writing Chiana-River hot!girl!sex is getting to me... *grin* ]

No... no... this is it... I wrote it down... so I wouldn't forget. And i recognise the carpet.

::looks up at River, baffled::

Who... what... how do you know? I... I don't know you...

::concerned look, chews on her lower lip::

"It's okay, Cally," River assures her. "I'm helping Rogue. We're taking you to bed." Um. Ooops. Cally's intoxication makes
her thoughts substantially more evident, and the images of Cally and Rogue that flow into River's mind are... unusually candid and somewhat erotic.

Oh, my. No, no, no... I'm not taking advantage of either of them. Not unless they invite me to.

Roy notices River and is startled for a moment, not having realized she was there. "Oh. Excuse me," he said. "Didn't see you there. I'm Roy Mustang."

[identity profile] river-dancing.livejournal.com 2005-09-16 02:49 pm (UTC)(link)
River blinks, gazing back at him with a puzzled smile. Where on earth did he come from? "The experience is shared, then. I'm River."

[identity profile] alchemy-4-arson.livejournal.com 2005-09-16 05:26 pm (UTC)(link)
"Er...well, nice to meet you." He looks at Rogue, nodding his head a little. "Both of you. I'm exhausted, though, so it's goodnight."

He nods walks off toward the stairwell to the first floor, completely forgetting about the hole in the door and the transmutation circle still drawn on it.

[identity profile] alchemy-4-arson.livejournal.com 2005-09-16 08:37 am (UTC)(link)
Roy is also passing by on his way from [livejournal.com profile] 2ls_in_oneill's room (where all the destructive banging is coming from), and notices Rogue's situation.

"Excuse me. I can help, if you want. Is the door solid wood?"

[identity profile] alchemy-4-arson.livejournal.com 2005-09-16 09:03 am (UTC)(link)
"I'm terrible at lock-picking myself. However," Roy reached into his pants pocket and pulled out a box of chalk, removing a piece, "I can do one better."

He carefully drew a transmutation array (a complex circle inscribed with various geometric designs) on the door not far from the handle, then touched it and concentrated. A hole about palm-sized opened up in the surface of the door, easily wide enough to slide a hand through.

"There you go."
