Fred walked down the hallway, mumbling something about law and physics. She had her hair in braided pigtails, and it was swinging as she walked.

Draco walks down the hallway and almost passes Fred. But he does a double take and turns around to walk with her.
"Hey, I haven't seen you around before." he says

"I spend a lot of time in my room" Fred replies shyly, blushing a little, her accent thickly southern. She was not used to the attention of boys.

Draco, being from England, has never heard such a thick accent. He finds it cute...for a muggle.
"Well, I keep having to work and with all these new students it's hard for me to keep up with whos who. I'm Draco Malfoy."

"I'm Winifred Burkle, but most people just call me Fred or bookworm or smart girl or pothead, or some equally as embarrassing other nickname..." Fred rambled, she tended to do that a lot, though she shook his hand.
