River nods solemnly. "I promise I will not use them to attack any student or staff member while I am enrolled here." She moves over to collect the slim blades from the box, then turns to smile faintly at the professor. The song-voices of the forged steel whisper softly in her head, but... "I think it might've been something I said that brought on Angelus's behavior, to be honest. I was kind of, well, flirting with him..."

She shrugs, and lifts the bag which now conceals the knives. "Thank you for these. Good quality knives are difficult to find, these days."
