Beka enters the gym, flips on the lights and checks out the scene. There's a punching bag. It looks a lot like her. She strips down to sweats and a t-shirt and gets down to the serious business of beating the shit out of herself.

And waits for Camulus.

Camulus rolls to his knees and climbs to his feet, still breathing heavily. He straightens with only a slight effort and kicks the prone Beka solidly in the ribs. "Tau'ri bitch," he snarls.

Beka grabs her ribs, not faking this time. She pants out: "Unless Tau'ri means mother of the baddest mother-frakking race this side of Andromeda, the next time, you will eat your words."

Camulus looks from Janet to Beka and back, his lip curling up in a sneer. "I will eat my words? Perhaps. But not today. You can barely stand." He laughs. "This was a most pleasant diversion. We must do it again some time. Until then . . ." Camulus turns and strides out of the gym, wiping Beka's blood from his cheek.

Beka watches the Gou'ald's retreating back. "You bet your incredible ass we will."

Then she turns to Janet. "Are you insane? He'd have killed you. He hates you Tau-, uh... Coloradans."

"I'm not afraid of him," says Janet flatly. "And he knows it. He may hate us, but somewhere deep down, he's afraid of us." She shakes her head, her fury dissipating. "Besides, he laid a hand. More than a hand, actually. On you." Her eyes flash with humor. "Besides, I'm the least scary of any of the Colorado refugees." She grins wryly. "He should be glad it wasn't Daniel. Daniel's grudge is personal." More personal than hers was, anyway.

"We should get you to the infirmary." She shakes her head and corrects herself. "The clinic. You're pretty beat up."

Seeing Janet, striding toward them, Beka gets to her feet. She's in no condition to do anything but die, but she is not going to let Camulus hurt her friends.
