In the gym...

Beka enters the gym, flips on the lights and checks out the scene. There's a punching bag. It looks a lot like her. She strips down to sweats and a t-shirt and gets down to the serious business of beating the shit out of herself.

And waits for Camulus.

"You bet your ass I do, buster," says Janet. "You think I would be afraid of you? You think I would be afraid of your entire contemptible, pathetic, species of body-stealing thieves?" She looks him up and down scornfully. "Your kind are on the run now. The dead are multiplying and you--false god that you are--are now here. You've gone from ruling thousands to having to earn your keep."

She's only a few feet away by now, keeping an eye on Beka in the periphery of her vision, but her fury is focused solely on Camulus.
