River sits on her bed inside the propped-open door to the room, jotting down notes and potential strategems in a college-bound notebook. She's prepared snacks and drinks for hosting, and as soon as everyone interested in the investigation of Hellboy's disappearance arrives they can begin their discussion.

Angela nods. "I heard that -- you and Maia both -- that you ... knew things.

But is that all it is, this girl who misses him? Did he, like, give you anything else?" Angela is weirdly relieved, although she still couldn't understand why a girl could cause the meltdown she had seen.

[OOC: Angela shouldn't know yet specifically that Marty is an assassin. Anything else is fair game.]

"Well... I'm not sure if this means anything, you understand..." River hesitates, studying Angela's expression before she goes on. "I got the impression that he was more than a bit practiced with those pistols of his. And there's something -- not wrong, that's not quite it. But there's a curious blankness inside of him, as though he doesn't feel things quite the same way as other people do."

Angela shivers a bit, involuntarily. "I knew about his guns. He's way, way too good with them, and I want to know why. The other thing..." Angela shrugs. "I'm sure you do get that, but ... I've kissed him. I like him, a lot, and he seems to like me back. He seems pretty ... I don't know, pretty normal. For this school, anyhow. But I'll watch for that, okay?"

Angela stands to leave, feeling she's taken up too much of River's time and not sure she would want to hear anything else. "Thanks again ... I should, like, let you get back to your meetng."
