Saturday night

It's been a rough day.

Not wanting to beat things up for once, and not wanting to run into anyone she knows in town (especially since she knows John is there), Aeryn decides to go for a walk on the school grounds.

This, at last, makes her laugh. Oh, gods, her ribs hurt. She coughs. "Yeah. Beka Valentine. We met the other night. I looked... healthier."
