Saturday night

It's been a rough day.

Not wanting to beat things up for once, and not wanting to run into anyone she knows in town (especially since she knows John is there), Aeryn decides to go for a walk on the school grounds.

Janet rolls her eyes. That's Beka, stubborn to the end. Thankfully--sort of--she's not sure Beka could make it to her room on her own. So they're going to the clinic, like it or not. After Beka and Aeryn work out whatever it is they need to work out.

Janet feels Beka's weight shift a bit, and shoulders in closer to support her more.

"We really should go," says Janet. Yeah, Beka has a magical roommate, but she neither knows, nor trusts magical healing. "If you don't want to go to the infirmary, you're going to have to let me check you over in your room before I let you sleep."

(OOC: We can just do a quick "and so it shall be" post on that, if you want. Janet presumes lots of bruising, no internal injuries except for maybe bruised ribs, nothing serious, but she'd prefer a checkover to be positive. FYI.)

"Fine. Whatever the price." She knows that sounds churlish, and doesn't mean it to. "I appreciate it. Really. I'm just... it's been a bad day." She gives her best approximation of a smile.

OOC: *smooches back* Janet has so learned when not to push it with the gunbunny types. :) And checkover in your room is fine. It's your room; I'll let you be the lead on that post too (this is mostly your thing, after all *g*).

Janet nods understandingly. "I don't know the particulars," she says. "That's fine. I'm not asking. Let's get you to your room so we can make sure you're okay. Then you should sleep."
