At the firing range...

Aeryn has spent the entire day at the firing range.

If they're taking away her weapon, then she is NEVER FRELLING LEAVING.

Occasionally people can hear her complaining about the squid, the werewolves, the general lawlessness of the place, along with worries about polar bears, and anyone who passes by could probably feel their vocabulary adding new and interesting words, some spoken entirely in Sebacean.

Sam dumps her satchel in the grass. She reflects that it doesn't matter if Aeryn wants company or not: she's going to get it.

Aeryn nods. "Just as long as I can keep my weapon in my hand and keep putting holes in the target."

Sam shrugs as she fills her clips with ammo. "I guess they don't want us starting open war in the corridors, what with the...odd and unusual people around the school. I can understand that."

She aims at the targets down the other end of the field. "Doesn't mean I like it."

"I never saw any open war in the corridors," Aeryn says, firing off a couple more shots. "I know I was involved in an incident, which was an accident after Vala needed someone to get her down from the ceiling. I would think the odd and unusual is more of a reason to protect ourselves, as long as there's some sort of moderation."

The pulse rifle misfires. "I think I'm out of chakan oil."

"I don't know about the incident with Vala," Sam admits, "But I think that the alert about Angelus made a few people nervous - including one of the staff. I know I'm not entirely comfortable walking around the school with a known killer living across the corridor."

She glances across at Aeryn and the rifle, "Chakan oil?"

"Pulse weapons run on it. I have a little supply here," she shruges. "Of course, we also don't know who sent that alert. Who says they're telling the truth? Either way, this makes me feel a little safer."

I told you I'd come by. Just a little later then usual.

I, uh, asked around about things that you might need for your camping trip. Food, pillows, blanket, bathroom stuff, and Janet suggested scented lotions. You don't have to use those but they do smell nice. I put some on my wrist to try it out.

Besides the weapons things, how're you doin?

Beyond that, I'm okay. I'm better at keeping up with my classes when I don't go to them. You really didn't have to do all this, you know.

Yeah, it does smell nice. Of course, getting complimented on my nice smelling perfume by a bunch of guys isn't the best thing. But, whatever and all.

I wanted to do this. I did. I'm sorry about the other night thing. I suck. That whole night sucked.
