Back in the Dorms...
It was late, and Sakura knew she probably should have been in bed by now. She had classes the next day, and having missed all her classes the week prior meant she had to be her best for them this week. She sighed, passing a weary glance to what appeared to be a flying yellow teddy bear.
"Kerocchyan," she whined softly, shifting her duffel bag on her shoulder. "What am I gonna do? I've already missed my first week of classes -- and I even enrolled late! I don't know how I'll manage this... I'm not ready for this school." She hung her head, closing her eyes over as she trudged toward her dorm room. She hoped the note she had left for Tomoe hadn't been to vague as to her whereabouts.
"Don't be down, Sakura," the small flying creature chided, fluttering his tiny wings to hover above her head and pat it with a plush-looking paw. "I'm sure you'll figure it out." Sakura nodded, digging into a pocket of her capris to unearth the key for her dorm room. She then unlocked the door and pushed it open with her hip as quietly as she could manage -- she didn't want to wake her roommate.
"Shitsurei shima~asu," she called in a soft whisper, hunching a little and squinting through the moonlight in the room toward the bed. Removing her shoes without thinking about it, she blinked. The drapes were still open. Her jade eyes slid to the bed designated to be Tomoe's, and noticed the sheets and blankets sort of tossed around as if she'd been in a scuffle in bed, but Hotaru was nowhere to be seen. Her cheeks tinged crimson. She wasn't sure she wanted to know what kind of scuffle... she knew nothing about Tomoe, after all.
Still standing in the doorway, she quietly closed the door with a now sock-clad foot, and padded over to her bed to set down her duffel bag. Pursing her lips, she tilted her head at the empty bed across the room. Her eyes then traveled back to the door and the noticed that -- despite how little decor there was in the room -- there seemed to have been a struggle across the entire room. Sakura's cheeks turned pinker. Maybe she was glad Tomoe wasn't in the room at the moment.
"Make yourself at home, Kerocchyan," she said, wandering over to the dresser near her bed and pulling out a pair of blue and yellow pajamas. "There's an empty drawer in the dresser if you'd like to furnish it like you did at home." She made haste in changing, then pulled back the covers on her windowside bed. "I'm going to sleep," she said, sliding under the sheets, her back to the room. She closed her eyes over, and idly thought of Tomoe, trying to figure what on earth she could be up to at such an odd hour.
[[OOC: "Shitsurei shimasu" is like saying "Sorry for the intrusion". She's apologizing for coming in so late, thinking she may have woken her roommate.]]

Oh, crap.
Hotaru practically glued herself to the nearest wall. This was never good. She had what she thought was fits, close to the days when she was posessed by Mistress 9, and she disliked the thought of someone as ChibiUsa-like... albeit older, of course, immensley.
"S-s-sumimasen, Kinomoto-san!" Hotaru yelped, looking much paler than usual. "I-I can explain why the room is such a mess, just..."
I don't think I want to, but if she's living in the same dorm as me, she deserves to know.

"Tomoe-san? There you are, I was kind of worried..." she said softly, sliding her legs to the edge of the bed and setting the pads of her bare feet on the carpet.
Kero, having partially "moved in" to the empty drawer in Sakura's dresser, pushed the compartment open a little and peered out, having already fallen asleep and been woken up by Sakura's voice.
"Sa~akura~a, what's going on...?" he pushed the drawer open more, and fluttered out into the room. Sakura smiled at him.
"It's nothing, Kerocchyan. This is my roommate, Tomoe Hotaru. You can go back to sleep if you want,"
"Ohh, your roommate?" Almost isntantly, Kero was awake, and changing the subject from Hotaru's belated return. "Nice to meet you, Tomoe-han, I am Keroberos!! You better not mess with Sakura while I'm here, I'll kick your butt!" he waved around his tiny bear-like "fists", in a failing attempt to look menacing.
Sakura swatdropped.
"...Um, don't mind him, Tomoe-san..."
[[Ooc: Because of Kero's Kansai-ben(which makes no sense, when he was "born", Osaka wasn't even around, was it? o__O; ), 'han' is the equivalent of san for him.]]

She pulled her shoes off, then flopped down on her bed, expression darkening a little. "I was fine, I guess... but, um, I think there's something you need to know about me, for your saftey." Deep breaths, Hotaru. Deep breaths.

"I think it's your buisness, Tomoe-san," she folded her hands in her lap, and passed Kero an odd look as the Guardian of the Seal hovered around Hotaru, inspecting her in the little light left in the room. "And don't really think explination is necessary." She hoped the pink that had returned to her cheeks wasn't visible in the darkness. "Besides," she stifled a yawn. "It's late, and I don't know about you, but I have classes tomorrow. I missed all of last weeks, so I need to be in top shape for tomorrow..." She beckoned Kero, who fluttered over with a light tinkering sound, tail trailing behind him. He came to rest sitting half on the bed and half leaning on her thigh, and she pet him as if he were a small cat. "Perhaps explinations can wait until tomorrow after class?"

"Oyasumi nasai, Keroberos-san, Kinomoto-san." Hotaru curled up on her side, staring at the room. She probably wasn't going to get any sleep anytime in the near future, too worried about possibilities to sleep.

"...Sure thing, Tomoe-san..." she said, awkwardly. Though the Sleep card will be much more effective and less... erm, painful...
Sakura smiled, and picked Kero up, replacing him in his drawer-bed. He'd already fallen asleep again, leaning on her thigh as he did. She smiled at him for a moment before crawling back onto her bed.
"Oyasumi, Tomoe-san, Kerocchyan."
