Meeting with campus security
Angelus stood just inside the main door to the dormintory. He spared an irritated glance at the sunlight, as though it was personally insulting him simply by existing.
Today's outfit was black pants, black calf-length coat, deep red shirt.
In his right hand he carried a black duffle bag.
He used his foot to push one of the doors open. He figured that should be enough for his voice to be heard both inside and out.
"Rover? Oh, Rover?" he looked around. When there was no immediate response he tried, "Heeeeeere kitty, kitty, kitty...."

"Rover? Oh, Rover?" he looked around. When there was no immediate response he tried, "Heeeeeere kitty, kitty, kitty...."

*to the school dorms, he came to a stop just in front of the steps and waited patiently.*

He stepped back more into the shadows. "Uh, love to go running - er, rolling through the fields with you there, Rov, but there's a slight UV problem with that equation."
He held up the duffle bag. "Got some stuff here for you. Needs a security check. I could throw it out to you but getting it back would be a little bit of a problem. Possibly funny for you, though. Depends on how much you like dust."
no subject
*he waited patiently to see what he had.*

He nodded to indicate what was at the top of the bag, which was a collection of knives, daggers, and stakes. "Call it my way of obeying the new rules."
no subject
*it was an impressive small arsenal of weapons in the bag.*
*he appreciated the voluntarily giving up of the small arsenal of weapons in the bag and wiggled once.*
*waiting, rover figured there was more.*

"That's it for the sharp stuff," Angelus told him. "My room is clean of anything that violates the ban. Well, my half is anyway. I make no claims for Harris." Inspired, he looked up hopefully. "Don't suppose there's any way to force you to check Harris?"
no subject
*he would find this Harris and look for weapons.*
*backing up, rover took a rolling lead and as he rolled by, where there were weapons, there were none left in his wake.*
*he hopped back over in front of Angelus.*
*rover wanted to assure Angelus that as soon as the weapons ban was lifted, rover would see Angelus got his pointy bits back.*
*it came out as a high bounce with a small jiggle.*

Next up on the floor was the remaining contents of the duffle bag: A sketched drawing of an insect, a pad of nice stationary complete with envelopes, a stack of magazines that included things like People, Time, and US Weekly, and a velvet-covered jewelry box. The velvet on the latter was somewhat bleach stained.
"After my last round of gifts ended up sending me to detention," Angelus explained, with a note of stress in his voice as he mentioned detention, "I figured I'm going to be real safe instead of sorry. These are all things that will eventually end up in the hands of students or teachers. They'll know they're from me, so there's no secrecy or funny business that way. But I figure you should check them out. That way nobody can say I hid poison on them or something."
no subject
*as he understood it, it wasn't the gifts that were distressing but in their presentation.*
*he regarded the contents critcally, taking a long time to think on it.*
*rover was not a good judge of what might make a good gift.*
*this distressed him somewhat.*
*he took a hop and a roll toward the end of the hall that held the staircase leading to Professor Jerusalem's home.* ((OOC: *rover's player cannot remember exactly where Spider is housed.))
*circling around, rover stopped and regarded Angelus.*
no subject
"Let me guess," he said. "Timmy fell down the well?"
He gathered up the gifts, put them carefully back into the bag, then followed Rover.
no subject
*he shimmied in place, rolled to the bottom of the stairwell leading to the professor's apartment and stopped again.*
*the professor was in class but rover didn't see the need to drag Angelus before the professor.*
*but rover felt it was in Angelus' best interest to let the professor look at his gifts.*
*unfortunately, all rover could do was sit there and shake.*
no subject
"If you need to hit the head the bathrooms are back that way," he pointed. He held up his duffle bag. "Need a magazine?"
no subject
*backing up he rolled over Angelus and they disappeared.*
*they reappeared in front of the professor's classroom.*
*rover sat still in the hallway.*
*but the professor was in class and rover did not want to disturb him.*
*rover rolled over Angelus again and they ended up back where they started.*
no subject
There was a pause.
"Who is that guy?"
no subject
*he thought everyone knew who Professor Jerusalem was.*
*...apparently not.*
*rover sat silently for a moment before he started to bounce lightly, a distinct pattern of short and long taps.*
s-p-i-d-e-r-j-e-r-u-s-a-l-e-m
*which would work if Angelus knew Morse code.*
*and look comical if he didn't.*

*this one understood.*

*then he tapped again*

*he rolled back and forth again to indicate he was okay with Angelus.*
