A message to my fellow students - from Beka via Ghost

The following message appears on the dormitory bulletin boards, delivered by Ghost from Beka Valentine:

I popped in today via Ghost to attend Journalism class for reasons of my own. Professor Jerusalem and I discussed the weapons ban. He said:

"Guns and other weapons were freely allowed until people began discussing using them on each other. As we can't track all the rumors to find out which ones are true and not wanting student blood on our hands, they had to be taken from everyone. If you want to complain or discuss the issue, I'd say find a way to assure the principal that people won't be using said weapons on each other."

This seems to me an excellent idea. Yet, it's something we have to do as a group. I'd like to propose a meeting of anyone interested in this question from any perspective. I'd like to have my frelling weapons while on campus, and I know most of you would too.

If anyone wants to talk about this, we can meet in the common room tomorrow. That'll give time for people to cool off and for everyone to get this message.

Oh, good. This will probably work better than staging a sit-in at the firing range, which was my thought on the subject...

Apparently someone just made a death threat against Angelus, so it looks like we'll be weapons-free a while longer. If you want to store your weapons on my ship, though, you can. I've got a sort of... uh.. it's hard to explain, but you can get them back quickly.

And, we probably should try to talk through this stuff anyhow.

Just buzz my voicemail. Dierdre's Ghost is usually reliable and prompt. You're also welcome to come sleep out on the Maru if you don't want to be without the Glock. Time moves different out there, though. Warning. A time moves at a speed of about four days to one, depending on where I am.
