Empty Room

*Maia makes her way to her room, she is exhausted but also in a strange way refreshed. Her talk with a_phale helped her see more clearly somehow. What did it matter in the grand scheme of things what happened to people who refused her help?

After a quick shower Maia crawls into bed, she looks around and realizes that whatever comes is going to come and going around trying to save the world and people who refuse to be helped only served to make Maia miserable.

With that thought Maia turns out the light very happy that people who need a key to her room have it and prays that River remembered her key tonight.

Maia laughs at River, "I think its because your you." *Maia puts her arm around River*

"Lemme tell you about this guy named Freud" Maia giggles at River perched for a story. "I'm being silly honey"

Then Maia smiles again "What was it like.. it was like nothing I've ever done before. Kinda like, I didnt know where we ended and began at you know. And then, when it was over, we fell asleep together and for the first time, I didnt dream. It was so peaceful River"

River smiles, wistfully. "I think I know that feeling. When Chiana and I were... ah... initially going at it, the first time for me caught both of us by surprise." She sighs. "I'm happy for you, Maia... I guess I just have some concerns about getting into a relationship like that with one of your teachers."

So you and Chiana huh? She's nice, she does not act like you and I are freaks. She didnt even mind when I asked why she was a different color then people are. *Maia smiles* Well... tell me about it?? I told you *grins*

And dont worry about Sara I mean, she's not going to hurt me and she does not let it reflect anything to do with my studies.

"I'm not sure it's like that with Chiana," River says. "I mean, it is, and my gods it's great, but... I think we're both just having fun with it, and seeing where it takes us." She sighs happily, then adds, "And I think she's kind of rubbing off on me."
