James had bought a brand new movie, ``Kate & Leopold``, even though it was horribly sappy and lovey-dovey. He braced it tightly as be bought a few items from the market in Town, a snatched bottle of wine here, a stolen bottle of whiskey there; who cares.

He tacked up a note on the South Attic door, "Illyana, meet me in my room tonight for the movie and other sexual stuff. It's really sappy, don't kill me. -JAMES"
