From town to the front gate
Kawalsky was in town when it started to rain.
He didn't sense them. He didn't get a prickly feeling on the back of his neck, like he got when Camulus was too close. He'd been minding his own business.
Then everyone started to pack up. At first, he thought it was because of the storm. But who in their right mind packed up shop in a storm when customers could take refuge and buy stuff?
Then he saw them. He watched as they lumbered into town. It was almost like feeling his heart stop again.
Kawalsky dropped his bag, tossing it onto the sidewalk. His rational mind said that this was impossible, but this was Fandom Town. This was Fandom High. Anything was possible.
He had to warn the others.
Kawalsky broke into a sprint towards the school, thanking Loki for his younger, faster body. The acid burned his muscles and he was aching by the time he reached the gate.
"Charlie?"
Charlie skidded to a halt, breathing heavily. "Janet, we've gotta find Jack. We've gotta find the others and get to the weapons locker."
"What's going on?" Janet was alarmed, but ready to jump into action at a moment's notice.
"You're never.. it's almost impossible.." Janet went to say something, but he swallowed and interrupted her. "Zombies. There's a whole helluva lot of zombies. They're in the town. They're headed this way. We HAVE to find the others."

"Professor Jerusalem has given permission for students to be armed," someone said. "Get your gear and go."
They lined up and grabbed what they could. Zats, Jack's P90 and a couple of 5-7 sidearms to spread around. They threw as much as they could into a couple of bags. Charlie turned to Janet. "Take what you can and get to the library. Haul in as many people as you can. I'm gonna go back to our room and get some gear from my footlocker, see who I can get on the way." He needed his vest and his NVGs.

She looks at Janet, worried. And at Charlie, hoping he really does have the weapons training he says he has.
"Don't be stupid. My weapons fire like regular guns, but they're very dangerous. Now. Someone tell me what the hell is going on. And also tell me that our friends are all going to be here where I can protect their asses."
If ever Beka's looked deadly, she looks it now. And she is furious.

"I'm here." He anounces slightly giddy. "Is it true we have zombies now?" He may or may not be bouncing on his feet.
"This is gonna be fun."

"Be serious. I like to shoot things as much as the next girl, but this is the bad kind of dangerous. Most of these students haven't ever held a gun, let alone fired it at something trying to kill them."

Jack really is trying not to smile but he just can't help it, it's been way too long since he got to shot at anything that moved.
"Sorry, I think the adrenaline kicked in first and just decided to stay. Once we get everyone co-ordinated we'll be peachy."

(OOC: How would Jack feel about Beka kissing him?)

[OOC: Jack would have no problem with that.]

They are alone.
"Adrenaline makes me high too." Her eyes glow with a very fierce light. "Jack..."

"All alone now."
[OOC: AH! GLOWING EYES!]

Damn. Just damn.
(OOC: let me know if you prefer FTB or write it out. I can do either. But this is just a kiss, though hardly innocent, for now)
