Sidekick Tryouts, just outside the dorms

Hello there, prospective do-gooders! I am Professor Tick, and my side needs kicking! Err, that is, I need a sidekick. I could always use a hand grading things and running my class, but that's what a TA is for. You'll be helping me with that and assisting me in my other work.

You'll be expected to help me on my patrols [OOC: Patrols are assumed to happen at all hours of the day. If Tick's not around, he's patrolling, coincidentally being in exactly the places where stuff isn't happening. Sidekick is not expected to join him on these patrols, but it would be nice if they scheduled his routes or something. Not that he'd follow that. He goes where Justice leads him.]. You'll get a snazzy costume courtesy of Professor Beeblebrox's class. You'll get a spiffy super name! And you may even get some extra perks if SCIENCE. WILL. JUST. WORK. WITH ME!!!

Anyway, the tryouts will consist of five tests. At the end of the day, a new sidekick will be chosen! Keen!

Good answer! Now, Test... Wait a second, did you say EAT? Egads, it's a cute liittle kitten! I'll take it as a cultural difference, but still! Yeeeesh!

The Fourth Test is the Talent Competition, where you do something special that you can do. Hopefully it doesn't involve eating things that shouldn't be eaten. *Tick pouts for emphasis. He has a freakishly large lower face. When he pouts, he POUTS.*

*Tick stared for a minute. Even he was having trouble believing what he was seeing from his colleague. Back home he was generally considered the most insane person within a mobile fifty yard radius. He was okay with that. They just didn't understand him fully. It's not easy to understand him much of the time.

Um... Very... impressive... Professor. The Final Test would be to explain why you want to be my sidekick. Since you're a professor, you don't have to. But I'm sure everyone is wondering what you might say.
