Sidekick Tryouts, just outside the dorms

Hello there, prospective do-gooders! I am Professor Tick, and my side needs kicking! Err, that is, I need a sidekick. I could always use a hand grading things and running my class, but that's what a TA is for. You'll be helping me with that and assisting me in my other work.

You'll be expected to help me on my patrols [OOC: Patrols are assumed to happen at all hours of the day. If Tick's not around, he's patrolling, coincidentally being in exactly the places where stuff isn't happening. Sidekick is not expected to join him on these patrols, but it would be nice if they scheduled his routes or something. Not that he'd follow that. He goes where Justice leads him.]. You'll get a snazzy costume courtesy of Professor Beeblebrox's class. You'll get a spiffy super name! And you may even get some extra perks if SCIENCE. WILL. JUST. WORK. WITH ME!!!

Anyway, the tryouts will consist of five tests. At the end of the day, a new sidekick will be chosen! Keen!

Because just because someone is pretty and popular doesn't mean they can't do anything to help out once in a while, and just because I didn't want to get zombie guts on my new cashmere sweater- and eeeeew, do you guys realize how much you all still smell?- doesn't mean that I'm useless, you know? I just don't know what I'm good at. And sometimes I'd actually like to help out even if I don't know that I'd be any good at it, but you never know until you try, and even if I sucked at it, at least we know I would look good doing it. And maybe having someone pretty and popular would really help you out, because it would bring attention to your efforts and make bad guys not want to put the cute girl in harm's way, and it could even be part of your cunning plan! Plus I'm kind of bored.
