Maia wakes up room 217

Maia woke up in her dorm room unsure of what had happened. The last thing she remembered was being in a_phale's shop with call_me_red_ac. She looks around the room and see's the flowers still there from equalsmcsquared.

[OOC: Aziraphale moved Maia and Angela from Mr. Phale's shop to the police station, and then a larger group went from the police station to the church. I think I mentioned you as being at the police station, but not specifically at the church. Angela left the church yesterday afternoon and came back to campus, and some of the townies took care of Red's cubs.

[OOC: Thanks. I think you did a really nice job with Maia in the zombie scenes. One of the things that interests me about her in canon is that she's eerily calm about almost everything -- I guess because nothing is a surprise for her -- and it seems like you've been using that more lately. It's hard to imagine what an 8-year-old will be like at 16, and you get many points for trying.]

[OOC: If you're looking for a way to explain Maia's whereabouts after the police station, you can assume that Aziraphale took her with him back to his shop, and later made sure she got back to the dorms. Really glad you're okay!]

((OOC: thank you, i just posted and put that Maia assumed it was Aziraphale that had taken her from the shop and that she is drawing a blank for the last two days. She's in the pub all sad if you want to play with her. Your so sweet, I am glad I am ok to. The wind was terrible our whole house was shaking. my carpet is soaked, lost the roof on the second bedroom, just a little bit though, not like in my room. Hurricane Katrina made my roof go bye bye. I have to laugh or I'll cry over all this. ))

Maia blinks sleepily at River. "Yeah I, all I remember was that I was at the shop and now I am here. Are you ok? Your not hurt or anything now are you?"

"Better than I was." River smiles. "They wanted to keep me at the clinic for a time for observation, and then I kind of got sidelined by the zombies."

Maia comes over and hugs River "I'm glad your ok. Did you kill any? I shot one, I remember shooting it. I tried to find you, I went looking for you to warn you, to see if you saw what was coming. I couldn't find you though. I'm sorry"

"I..." River looks down. "I couldn't. I ... went to change into clothes more suitable for fighting, and I saw them coming. But when I tried to Look at them... it was like someone just switched me off. And all I could do was lie on my bed, just trying to move."

*Maia bites her lip* I it's just that I've never really had a relationship and I kinda talked about it.. I didnt have control over what I was saying you know. You don't think me odd for um, having a relationship with Sara do you? I mean I think you and Chiana are great, except I dont know if she'd understand you pickle dream, but *Maia looks at River* You know what, she might actually understand the pickles... I need to know your ok with this, that its not freaky that I am with her you know. I really care about her.

"I'm OK with it, Maia. It's just... where I grew up, having a relationship with a teacher of yours was discouraged. So..." River smiles wryly. "I'm still trying to learn the social mores of this time and place. I'm sure it'll be fine. And besides, Chiana and I are..."

She shrugs. "I don't know. It was fun. I'm not sure it was anything more than that, you know?"
