Maia wakes up room 217

Maia woke up in her dorm room unsure of what had happened. The last thing she remembered was being in [livejournal.com profile] a_phale's shop with [livejournal.com profile] call_me_red_ac. She looks around the room and see's the flowers still there from [livejournal.com profile] equalsmcsquared.

*Maia bites her lip* I it's just that I've never really had a relationship and I kinda talked about it.. I didnt have control over what I was saying you know. You don't think me odd for um, having a relationship with Sara do you? I mean I think you and Chiana are great, except I dont know if she'd understand you pickle dream, but *Maia looks at River* You know what, she might actually understand the pickles... I need to know your ok with this, that its not freaky that I am with her you know. I really care about her.

"I'm OK with it, Maia. It's just... where I grew up, having a relationship with a teacher of yours was discouraged. So..." River smiles wryly. "I'm still trying to learn the social mores of this time and place. I'm sure it'll be fine. And besides, Chiana and I are..."

She shrugs. "I don't know. It was fun. I'm not sure it was anything more than that, you know?"

Yeah thats cool, about you and Chiana. *Maia smiles* Sometimes you just have to get it out of your system. So, shall we watch some of those awful 80's movies to get ready for the slumber party? *Maia hugs River and whispers in her ear "Thank you for not discouraging me about Sara"
