Fifth Floor Drama

*Elizabeth had seen some strange things, but the zombie aftermath was too much, and she had to get out of her room. She left quietly, watching [livejournal.com profile] miss_thomasina not even bat an eye as she closed the door behind her. She found a comfortable couch in the fifth floor lounge and pulled out a book that had absolutely nothing to do with homework or zombies alike.*

Maia is walking along the hallways trying to walk her headache off and spies the girl sitting along in the lounge.

"Hi, I'm Maia"

Maia grins back happy to find a seemingly nice person at Fandom High.

"I haven't really seen you around before. What are you reading?"

[identity profile] maias-notebook.livejournal.com 2005-09-26 12:54 am (UTC)(link)
"Oh." Maia pauses having never actually read the book. "Where are you from?"

[identity profile] maias-notebook.livejournal.com 2005-09-26 01:04 am (UTC)(link)
Maia tilts her head. "Are you from a different time?"

[identity profile] maias-notebook.livejournal.com 2005-09-26 01:45 am (UTC)(link)
Maia smiles "No. I'm from about 70 years ago actually. Wow and I thought I had adjustment issues. 400 years.. Wow.. How did you end up here?"

[identity profile] maias-notebook.livejournal.com 2005-09-26 02:05 am (UTC)(link)
No I've heard of others. There is a pirate here. He does the radio show.. I think there are others from the future as well. I was in the past, then the future now I am present. *smirks* Only at Fandom High I guess. My mom thought this place would be good for me, a place for special people with special talents she said.

[identity profile] maias-notebook.livejournal.com 2005-09-26 02:17 am (UTC)(link)
Well.. your 400 years older then everyone here, thats pretty special in and of itself. There was a reason your father got that advertisment, even if it was by accident.
Do you have friends back home? That you miss?

[identity profile] maias-notebook.livejournal.com 2005-09-26 02:28 am (UTC)(link)
"Oh wow, they make shoes for horses and swords. Did Will make swords? My mom has a sword, its an antique, its beautiful. Why wouldn't your father want you to talk to him? I think making things like that with such precision is amazing."

[identity profile] maias-notebook.livejournal.com 2005-09-26 02:41 am (UTC)(link)
Maia smirked "You would have"

[identity profile] maias-notebook.livejournal.com 2005-09-26 03:08 am (UTC)(link)
Maia is instantly embarrassed. "Oh I-I'm sorry. That was rude of me, you don't know me. Its nothing sorry. So tell me more about this fellow, Will Turner"

[identity profile] maias-notebook.livejournal.com 2005-09-26 03:21 am (UTC)(link)
*smiles* thats nice, not that he was overboard but that your friends. Is he going to come see you here at the school?

Maia frowns "Yeah I don't think I'm going to have anyone for family day either" Maia stares at the book cover not saying anything now.

George climbs the last step to the fifth floor with a sigh. She was looking forward to some Must See TV™, as well as finishing off the two extra-large coffees (very blonde, four sugars each) in one sitting.

As she passes the fifth floor lounge, she notices a slight girl curled up with a book on one of the leather couches -- the ones that seemed to be held together with sheer will of Fandom High's invisible maitenance staff, and an economy-sized roll of silver duct tape.

"Hey," George says before she can remind herself that she's unlikably anti-social. "What are you reading?"

[identity profile] deadlikegeorge.livejournal.com 2005-09-26 01:10 am (UTC)(link)
George smiles back despite herself. "Nice. I've actually read that one." She looked down at the two coffees she held in either hand. "Do you like coffee?"

[identity profile] deadlikegeorge.livejournal.com 2005-09-26 02:16 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, I hope I don't regret this. George thinks as she holds one of her cups of coffee out towards Elizabeth.

"Here. I'm far too caffienated as it is." she says in a rush. "It's got lots of milk and sugar. I mean, that's how I like it. It's yours, if you want."

[identity profile] deadlikegeorge.livejournal.com 2005-09-26 03:02 am (UTC)(link)
George is horrified to find that she's blushing. "Yeah, no problem." She looks around uncomfortably, and takes a sip of her coffee to hide her discomfort. "Well. Enjoy Jane Eyre and the coffee. I'm going to turn in. Uh, I'm in #501 if you ever need anything."

[identity profile] deadlikegeorge.livejournal.com 2005-09-26 03:14 am (UTC)(link)
"Cool." George waves and turns on her heel. "See you, neighbor."

((OOC: It was nice RPing with you. George's mun is off to bed. Work is teh suXx0r :D))
