CONFUSED BY ALL THIS 80'S TALK?

You're not alone!

Come to the 80's Catch-up Slumber Party in the second-floor common room!
This Friday (tomorrow night) Tuesday evening (the night after tomorrow),
starting between 5 and 6 pm PST (8 and 9 EST),
we plan to watch movies and just talk about this strange decade-long phenomenon.

Bring food for a pot luck feast, if you like.
Nonalcoholic drinks will be provided, so bring your own if you prefer.

Write down your 80's movie picks on the comment sheet below!
Hope to see you there!

Hand-written along the bottom edge of the sheet:

Movies already rented:

Better Off Dead
Fast Times at Ridgemont High
Weird Science
Risky Business
The Breakfast Club

Dirty Dancing
Real Genius

Rory pauses, and considers the flier. She scribbles at the bottom.

Ferris Bueller's Day Off
Sixteen Candles
St. Elmo's Fire

(I own all three, and I'll bring 'em. - Rory Gilmore)

Angela adds Heathers to the list, though she worries some students won't quite see it as a comedy.

[ooc: What, no "Some Kind of Wonderful?" *feels rather sad for her poor, unloved movie*]

[OOC: Someone needs to bring "Fame." Neither of my characters can furnish it, sadly. ;)]

Joan wanders up and scrawls "Some Kind of Wonderful" on the list, then adding, "I won't be around Tuesday night, but you can borrow it. - Joan G."

[ooc: Hmmm, I don't know about everyone else, but besides Real Genius etc, one eighties must have is Girls Just Want to Have Fun starring Helen Hunt, Sarah Jessica Parker, Shannon Doriety, and Johnathan Silverman. It's cheesy, perfectly predicable, and a quintessential eighties flick. Sadly, not being from, nor believing in, Earth my character cannot suggest nor provide it.]

Marty looks at the list and rolls his eyes. No "Say Anything"? No "One Crazy Summer"? Someone has got to teach that psychic space girl about good movies.
