Not quite a coronary but close

Lee races home from class to check on all the tv programs he tivo’d while he was away to Caprica City to visit his dad…and he discovers that Room 216 has not only been ransacked but it has an odd and terrible cocktail of odors with the zombie arm hanging on the door and a mildewed rotting sail canvas lying on the floor.

As he is a strapping young man, Lee William Adama does not have a coronary (otherwise House might take interest) but he does shut the door tightly, lock it, unlock it, open it again and now that he’s sure he’s not hallucinating, he tentatively looks in to make sure it’s thoroughly ransacked and therefore nothing is left in there to save.

When this is all apparent, he closes the door again and writes “TOXIC AREA” on the door in big scrawling letters and goes to look for the dorm mother – or whoever is in charge of the dorms.

He’s more numb than furious, more shocked than tearful. It’s quite a terrible homecoming and all he can think about is that someone, right now is probably laughing at him.

Perhaps Veronica would know what to do but she left a voice mail message that she’d be out of town this week.

In the meantime, Lee is in dire need of a place to at least sit down and try to figure out now what to do that all his stuff has been stolen and his room is now uninhabitable.

*nods* Fire's probably best if it's as bad as you say. But... all of your things are in there. *looks sad*

*looks confused* So...something bad happened to your room. But before that, someone stole everything?

Damn. *hugs him* I wish I knew what to say.

Aeryn and I are going shopping today. You can come, or I can pick you up some things.

I bet there's room in 239/40, and you know you're always welcome in my room.

*hears Cam*

Shit. Expelled? What? You caused the zombies? *looks mad*

[identity profile] valentine-tart.livejournal.com 2005-09-26 06:20 pm (UTC)(link)
*strokes his less-than-usually-producted hair* That can't be right then. They can't expel you without telling you. *soothes*

*arches eyebrow at Cam and Crichton as if to say 'ixnay on the expelled-ay'*

*thinks his hair feels really nice without all the goop in it*

Listen. I have to talk to Connor about the gun ban. And I'm running for Academic Affairs. I promise, if it turns out you did get expelled, I'll talk to her and see about getting you reinstated.

Because they kicked you out for causing the zombies?

[identity profile] cameronmitchell.livejournal.com 2005-09-26 05:53 pm (UTC)(link)
*shrugs* I don't know. I found it hard to believe, but apparently Ash found something on the tower that is yours and that caused all this.

Maybe they showed leniency? Lee is a good student, after all.

[identity profile] cameronmitchell.livejournal.com 2005-09-26 05:59 pm (UTC)(link)
I'd hope so, but Ash was furious when he got down again.

The zombies, man. They nearly destroyed the entire school. Ash found the cause and Cally and I were in the group who went with him to stop it. When he destroyed it he said you were behind it and they were going to expell you. But they changed their minds, right? Otherwise you wouldn't be here.

It wouldn't have been the same without you. OMG, don't kill me.

You were. *frowns* You cleared your room, didn't you? But you're back now. You should have come said goodbye, man.
