River, startled out of a near-doze by the sudden sharp empathic pain in her hands and the sound of raised voices, leans out from room 217. "Tamade! What in the name of wo de tian a is going on out here?"

She takes in the goings-on, and her brow furrows, confusion clear on her face. "Cally? Vala? What... what happened?"
