South Attic - Door's open but keep it down - Vala, come back later, please

Beka heads back to her room to tidy up ~~and put Lee's girly things away~~ and hide the stuff she bought ~~for Lee~~ until he's ready to talk. Without looking to see whether he's in there, she closes the door to her bedroom, to give him and her some privacy. If he's there. He'll come out if and when he wants to talk. Or maybe he's already at class.

Janet'll be by at some point, and Cally, and who knows who else. Hopefully Callisto and 'yana won't mind all the company if they need to study.

She hangs a sign on the door that reads:

Door's Open But Keep it Down
Vala, please come back later

I guess you want to know why I'm avoiding Vala, huh?

::takes a deep breath::

Well... I guess everyone's going to find out eventually... so I might as well be the person to tell everyone...

I... I punched her in the mouth last night. ::looks over, concerned, waiting to see Beka's reaction::

*bites her lip to keep from laughing*

And...anyhow, we were talking about Vala kissing Cam. Hurt, huh?

It just... I couldn't figure it out... why Cam would want her over me. Especially after she kissed Solo while pretending to be a guy. ::sigh::

I mean, I just thought that maybe, you know... Cam and I had something... but I guess he didn't think so.

::chews her lip, thankfully holding back the tears::

Hmmm. Well, two things about that, but let's start with the first.

What made you think that you and Cam had something...like that?

I guess... just cause... Cam had been there for me... a lot. And I'd been there for him... Like, when Lee punched him in the face, and I woke up handcuffed to Anakin... and then there was the whole "saving each other's lives" thing this weekend...

I guess I just had the math wrong, or something ::frown::

Cam's a very sweet guy. He's very friendly and he smiles a lot. He makes eye contact with you, and when he's talking to you, you tend to feel like you're the only person in the world for him. *blushes a bit* At least, that's how I felt.

::leans her head over, resting it gently against Beka's::

We should start a club or something... we'll have to come up with some super secret code name and everything. ::smile::

*strokes her hair gently*

I think there are enough clubs around here. Don't you? *gentle grin*

All right, so, Cam got you. Accidentally, knowing him. I don't think he meant for me to become his girlfriend. It just sort of happened. Now he's trying to date Vala -- and going to Homecoming with Kara and Vala's going with Harkness which is enough to make my head hurt -- and... you're mad at Vala, because she kissed Cam?

Well, I was mad at Vala because she kissed Cam... now I'm terrified of what she might do to me 'cause of last night.

::chews on her lip::
