Well, I asked some of the other men about their background, experiences with social events, and anything else that I might need to know if I were to be engaged. *She smirked* Just so I could at least act as if I knew you well.

well... I grew up on a different planet... core no less, but in a less then nice area, black out zone.
Dad always talked about the rim, where there was more freedom, and mom, well she... *shakes his head, not wanting to go there*

Dad died when I was nine. I made a name for myself as a good thief, good tracker... never got much education, thats why Im here now.

The minute I had a chance to get off world, I took it. Signed up with a group of pirates, got myself out in the sky...

Then I crashed here. My team all died, I got out alive.
I aint never killed no one, yet, but I didnt help no one live.

I aint never been to a fancy party, but that doesnt mean I couldnt, or wouldnt, I suppose...

And I got money. Here, and off planet. A fair amount of it, and Im thinkin, a girl like you wouldnt marry beneath yer means... but ya dont want no little ball of fluff either... *sly look*

I got the coin, and yeah, Id do whatever ya wanted, if you were planin on paying me. Probably do whatever you wanted without it too, I mean, I got all suited up and everything just for this...

Oh yeah, and my dad was military... Brown coat. Before unification.
I know how to do that whole routine too, if ya wanted it.

((no, he isnt telling everything, and none of this, as far as I know, is actual canon, writer just made it up, but it does psychologically fit his profile, so Im going with it.))

*She raised an eyebrow, obviously intrigued. She smiled at the mention of pirates.* So you're a pirate, hmm? Interesting. *Her eyes seemed to gloss over as the mention of pirates stirred up memories of pirate legends. Perhaps there was truth in them after all?
