"Hypothetically I wouldn't do jack since I don't care about the ban one way or another," Angelus said. "But if somebody was asking my advice the first thing I'd ask in return is what they think the weapons ban is really about."

"Don't apologize. The more we understand each other, the better team we make. Isn't that the point?" She flashes him a quick grin. As annoying as negotiations over this weapons ban are, he's intelligent and interesting and she's enjoying this.

"I should make clear that Jackson is, if not my lover, then at very least a very warm friend. I wouldn't be asking him for a favor so much as discussing with him the best rule. He's bound to ask my opinion. So we should have one."

He blinked at the news about Jackson and wondered for a moment why everyone was getting lucky with teachers but him. "Good to know," he finally managed.

At his reaction to her revelation about Daniel, she chokes back a laugh. She'd forgotten the gossip about him and Padme. It wouldn't do to make an ally awkward over sex. "Perhaps I should provide you with a list of my past and current partners?" She flashes him a quick grin. "Never know when it might come in handy for blackmail."

He put his hands up. "I'm good, really. Anything like that I'm guessing I can probably learn from the Pirate anyway, right?"

She laughs. "Yeah. He seems to keep tabs on my whereabouts."

Damn. It'd been hours since she'd eaten. "I'd like Angelus's thoughts on what we've discussed. So unless you're needing to get out of here, maybe we should get something to eat and get back to plotting to take over the world together the 'feel good, love your fellow students' campaign."
