Wandering Announcement Man!

Kawalsky is wandering the halls again wearing a big sandwich board. He's doing his usual thing, which means 10-15 minutes on each floor from the ground floor all the way up to the attics. This time the board says:

Shep, find your own date.
Beka's going with O'Neill.


On the back, in smaller print beneath the message it says "Kawalsky's Announcement Service. For when you want your message seen. Call Kawalsky in room 239/240 for details/prices."

Parker immediately does a U-turn when she sees Kawalsky walk by.

"Ha! Aha! Yes!"

"Want to walk around with an advert for Liz & Phoebe? And the others?" Parker looks avid. "How much do you charge?"

Sure, I reckon you'll do better with an all-day deal for Liz and Phoebe and the others. I'll cut you a deal because I want them to win anyway. I'll wear a board advertising them all day. In return, I get to call on you for a random favor like saving my life or something next time zombies show up. Sound okay?

Parker thinks about it for a second, but really, it's a no-brainer. She already owes Thrace and a couple other people for the last time her life got saved, so putting Kawalsky on the list isn't a hardship.

"Deal. Come back to the Campaign HQ in an hour or so, and I'll have an ad ready for you to wear." She smirks. "Sandwich is a good look for you."

Sam pauses briefly at the sight of Kawalsky's sandwich board. The only evidence that she has read it's message is a slight tightening of her mouth and a few rapid blinks of her eyes as she continues walking down the hallway.

Out of sight, out of mind. Some things don't ever change.
