Since I don't have an opponent that I'm aware of, this shouldn't be an issue. However, I've been working on my statement. I need to find out from someone what my position actually entails. Who has the position descriptions?

There were no definitions, per se, released before, but here's what I've got, from the web, of what you're signing up for:

Academic Commissioner;

i) Shall be responsible for promoting academics, education and self-improvement of arts students.

ii) Shall work with the Associate Dean of Arts and the Academic Councillor towards addressing students’ academic needs and concerns.

iii) Shall sit on Library Users Committee and report its activities to ASC.

iv) Shall chair the Academic Affairs Committee.

v) Shall prepare and submit an Event Report no longer than two weeks following the event, consisting of contact information, suggestions for next year and a time line for the planning of the event. Completion of these reports would become integral parts of the required Final Report.

ix) Shall be responsible for organizing activities and workshops that aid students.

There were no definitions and no one was running. Someone had to do it. ~~And Liz was so damned cute when she was trying to think of someone to run.~~

i) Arts students? We have those? *shakes head* Otherwise, I can do that. I've got one of the highest grade-point averages in the school.

ii) I can work with Deans and Councilors, no problems.

iii) Library. Check. Methos and Janet. Can do. I mean... yeah.

iv) This, I take it has to do with academic suspensions and etc.

v) What event? Am I missing something?

ix) Hey, I did that already. I gave a sex ed workshop in the... Don't glare at me, Parker, I said I wouldn't do it again 'til after the campaign.

Well, it's a general set of definitions. So take that to mean "anyone registered" instead of specifically arts.

I think it does have to do with academic suspensions; also, maybe, course offerings that the students might petition for.

Event, as in, any event that you coordinate, you get to be the reporter on how it went, back to the Student Council.

All right. So, basically, I'm the liaison between the staff and the student body. I'm responsible for dealing with matters academic, and oh the irony because Ms. Valentine is such a tart, and so reckless and trigger-happy. But, ah, yes. She's also a bloody 4.0 student, thank you.

Makes perfect sense. If you should happen upon anything dealing with me, Angelus, and Anakin, it's a ruse. I'm trying to get them to make me their front-runner on the gun thing so there's no competition for my plan. If you have someone tracking my behavior, you'll see I've formed a coalition with Kitty Pryde, and probably my roommate Illyana to protect the unarmed or anyone asking for protection. I've also made friends with the pretty little angel boy who will now tell all his friends how cool I am.

*narrows eyes* And again, I ask, as your campaign manager, that you not refer to yourself in terms that *won't* get you elected by the more timid among our constituents.
