Looking around a bit nervously...

Lana goes looking around in the first and second floor common rooms, trying to find Archie. She hesitates about trying his room again. She definitely was concerned that she'd almost interrupted something between him and that girl... Cally, she thinks her name is. She's not sure if what she saw means Archie's already found a homecoming date or not, but she'd hate to have him think that she just blew him off and didn't show up after detention on Saturday. She'd fretted about it all day Sunday and finally decided she at least needed to try and find him today.

If Lana could see him, there's a blond kid crouched on the ground, the end of a string in his hand. However, she can't, so just as she steps out the doorway of the second floor common room, the kid pulls the string tight, making it into a trip-wire, about five inches off the ground.

Lana trips over the string and takes a header into a piece of furniture, knocking herself completely out. She lies sprawled out on the floor unconscious.

"Yes!" hisses a really mean voice, and then the kid runs away.

Archie, still kicking himself over forgetting all about the promised meeting with Lana, is wandering the dorms trying to find her, when he hears a *thunk* from the common room, then sees a small child running by.

When he goes to investigate, he finds Lana unconscious on the floor.

"What the hell . . .?" he murmurs.

He picks her up and heads for the clinic.
