Rooftop clean-up.. beautification! [OPEN TO ALL]

Standing on the face of the alien, Parker is in the worst clothes she could find; shorts and a white t-shirt. She has a hose hooked up to a pipe on the roof, many, many buckets, many, many bottles of cleanser, about two-dozen mops and sponge-mops, foamy pink cleaning stuff, and scrub brushes.

There are cookies, drinks, and CD certificates under a clear plastic tarp in one corner without any paint. A CD player is playing music ("Better Dayz" at the moment).

She's starting with taking down the toilet paper, what there is left of it, and working her way down.

Rory climbs the stairs to the roof, holding a tray of coffee cups - it's pretty much become the norm to see her with them balanced on her hip these days.

"Hey," she says, smiling warmly at Parker and setting the coffee down with the other refreshments. Though her hangover has subsided, she's still wearing her sunglasses in response to the setting sun, and her dark hair's still piled haphazardly on top of her head. She looks around. "Where should I start?"

"Hey! Thanks for coming." Parker wafts another bit of the TP that didn't blow away into a trash bag. "Put the coffee over there so it doesn't get knocked over, and help me get the last of this down. Unless you want to hose down the crenellated bits?"

She really wishes they had a ladder.

Sakura stumbled across Parker's cleanup, and blanked. She wasn't even entirely sure what had happened to the roof in the first place.

"Erm, excuse me?" She called. "...what's happened here? Would you like some help...?"

"Random beautification moment, brought on by gremlin spit. See what happens when you don't exterminate?" Parker bunches up a garbage bag, then looks hopeful. "Want some cookies? Want to help? The Alien Landing Pad has to be gone before nightfall."

Joan climbs up into the roof, making a face as she sees the roof in daylight for the first time. It looked like they had a lot of work to do – and it was only the beginning of it all. Sighing, she moves over and begins to help Parker remove the toilet paper.

"Hey," she offers, still a little hestitant after yesterday.

"Don't ever say I didn't do anything to help you, Shoes," John says and grabs a mop to begin scrubbing.

She grins and starts filling more buckets of water and bleach.

Mystique shows up. "Hey there." She starts moving to help with the toilet paper.

"Mystique, hi. Cookies, as promised. The CD's are over there too, if you want to grab yours. Or change the music." Parker curses as the stuff blows in her eyes.

"This was a lot easier when I was unrolling it, than it is now."

"Hey Miss Parker, Rory. I think there should be a school rule about keeping paint in a locked up closet. It's as dangerous as weapons, these days." She smirks at Miss Parker's hair. "Where do you need me to start?"

She puts down a platter of cookies and "Vote for Alanna" stickers on the table.

"Ucch, anywhere. Just get all the paper, so it doesn't become papier-mache', will you?" Parker is starting to get tangled as the breeze catches her. "Stupidest idea I ever had... stupid gremlins! This is all their fault!"

Angela makes her way to the roof, wearing overalls and an ancient tie-dye t-shirt.

"So where can I start?"

"TP first, so we don't get it wet and have icked paper to clean up." Parker stretches, then glances at Angela's shirt. "See? That's perfect for this. I'm losing a Tommy Hilfiger shirt to this mess. Argh."

Logan shows up, helps himself to a drink and cookies, and settles down to watch.

Cameron and Vala make it up on to the roof.

"Hope we're not late for the party," Cameron looks around and raises an eyebrow. "Wow, you guys were busy."

"Nah, we just got started." She grins at Vala, then rolls her eyes at Cam. "The stupid Gremlin spit inspired us. Really. See what happens when you hunt vermin without a permit?"

Broots nervously enters the roof, staying far, far away from all edges and keeping his laptop away from all water.

"Um, Miss Parker? What did you do this time?"

Parker glares at him, but her mouth is twitching. "Me? DO? Anything?" She waves her arms around. "This is all the product of gremlin spit hallucinations! Totally not my fault!"

She lowers her voice.

"Have you got it?"

Edward meandered out on the roof, dressed as he usually is. He glances around, and arches an eyebrow in amusement. "Holy. Crap. What did you guys do to this place?"

Joan grins for a moment. "Unfortunately, some of us were almost attacked by gremlins and they made us hallucinate. Here. Help." She hands him a mop and a bucket of water.

Sakura glowered at a mop, running it over the rooftop in an effort to remove some of the paint. When it didn't seem to be doing a lot of damage, she growled at it, softly.

"By the way, I'm Parker. And if you need a break in a bit, there's cookies and lemon bars under the tarp over there," Parker says as she goes by, lugging a bucket of water.

"Catch it! Grab it! For the love of--" Parker is hopping around like a frog, getting as wet as Rory and Logan, and she'd probably have the hose if she werne't laughing so hard.

Sakura pauses in her mopping again, eyeing the loose hose for a moment before shrieking at getting sprayed. She then glowered at the hose and made a grab at it.

Michael strolls casually onto the roof and over to Ms. Parker. he puts an arm around her, then kisses her lingeringly.

"Nice hair."

She's wet, she's happy and this is one more bonus. "Mmmm," she says, leaning into him. "Thanks. You like? I'm thinking... it makes me look like Debra Harry. And not in a good way." She grins and loops an arm around his waist.

*Hamlet finally turns up on the room, trying to figure out how to divide his time between the School Beautification Committee and the Fencing Club. He's wearing older-looking black clothing over some protective fencing gear to manage both.*

"*There* you are." Parker cocks an eyebrow at him, as she scrubs at one crenellation. "Nice outfit. Wanna grab a mop?" She grimaces and wipes hair out of her face. "And put in a new CD over there, will ya? That one's getting old."

Suddenly, without any warning (because sudden things so often have warning) music begins to pour from speakers around the roof. Loud music. Ear-splittingly loud music. Ear-splittingly loud POLKA music.

No one can talk over it, and if anyone can *think* over it, then they have stronger constitutions than most.

Edward carefully unwraps his head and winces, glancing around at everyone sprawled out on the roof. His ears were still ringing, but not as badly. Curious, he checks the blood he felt before ... then rolled his eyes.

He caught the edge of his ear on the palm of his automail. As usual, the biggest danger to Edward Elric is Edward Elric. "Is everyone all right?" he called.

She grumbles. "Time for Plan B. Can you still do that thing with removing the paint?"

Carter climbs up to the roof. She's got a smudge of grease on her cheek and is dressed in a loose pair of grimy jeans and a black t-shirt. She's got a wrench and two screwdrivers sticking out of her back pocket.

She looks around for Parker.

Parker looks up, and gives Carter a sad-and-tired wave. "Hey. Wanna help move some speakers? Broots disconnected the Polka from HELL. So he gets to keep them."

Parker narrows her eyes at him. "Hmmmm. Really?" She looks thoughtful. "Marty, how badly do you want to get elected, anyway? 'Cause I had the impression it was all Angelus's idea..."
