Common room. Maybe. Looks like it, anyway.

Still suffering from the aftereffects of a hangover (curse Spike and his Spikeishness anyway), Jaye is still in her pajamas, camped out in front of the TV, slumped in her seat and practically buried under blankets. Growling at nosy people will just hurt her head, so she's not going to try it. But if they try to take the remote, there will be blood.

"Bite me," she mumbles. "I'm not getting involved in that. I'm too busy doing nothing. Leave me alone until my brain cells regenerate."

Jaye watches the kid take the lion, and for a moment she doesn't do anything. It's nice to have some peace and quiet for once.

She changes the channel.

Except it's gnawing at her. The lion's gone.

The lion is gone.

Squinching up her face like it'll stop either the hangover or stop her from actually throwing off the blankets and tearing down the hall after the little brat in her jammies, Jaye goes for the second option.

"HEY!" she yells after him, nearly sliding across the floor in her socks. "GIVE THAT BACK, YOU LITTLE PSYCHO!"

Head still throbbing, Jaye is only really able to even remotely keep up because she's sliding around and even then, she's being beaten by some stupid kid. She takes a sock off and throws it at him.

The kid turns and tosses the lion back at her in a high arc. He takes off running again.

Jaye totally doesn't catch the lion. She lets it hit the ground and bounce once before picking it up. "That's for the 'I told you so'," she says.

It probably doesn't hear her due to the polka, so she decides to wander upstairs to kill someone.
