Rogue looks at Ash in complete disbelief. "What the HELL are you talking about? Master-baby? That's Janet Frasier in a really bad bikini." She looks disgusted. "What the hell is wrong with people? Coach, are you okay? Does she have like magic-bitch powers?"

Don't you go insulting the Master-baby like that, knucklehead. I am perfectly fine. If you give me that tone of voice again, I'll throw you in detention... or maybe I should let the Master-baby deal with you.

Rogue shakes her head. "Yeah, you just let "Master-baby" deal with me. I'll deal with her," she says, half under her breath, and very annoyed.

Rogue almost yells after him, but decides against it. Crazy or not, he's still a teacher. "Well, she doesn't approve of me anyway. And I don't approve of her," she mutters snottily.

"Oh, that sucks. I hope everything's alright; haven't been following it much myself," Rogue admits.

She shrugs. "Restless. Like I have to keep moving, and I'm not sure why."

"Everything's... getting better. Some people are pissed at me. And I'm pissed at them. It'll resolve itself eventually."

She looks at Rogue. "Want to help me and Phoebe with something?"

Rogue cocks her head to the side. "Depends. Do I have to do anything political? 'Cause that's just not me."

Beka smiles. "I guess that depends on how you look at it. Pheebs and I are trying to convince people to come to the big, non-partisan speaker event at Logan's tomorrow. We're telling people to 'Fuck the Tickets' and find out what people really stand for." She shrugs. "So it's both political, and as apolitical as you get."

"Hmm." Rogue taps her fingers on her lips, considering. "I think I can do that. But what exactly is this thing? Because I heard a little about it, but not too much."

"It's just an open forum where all the candidates will get a chance to talk. It seems important, because there are so many write-ins." And if what Pheebs and I have planned pans out, there will be more.

"Well, I can help get people to go, but I don't know anythin' about politics--here or anywhere else--other than I don't particularly like it much." She looks vaguely uncomfortable. "The US government doesn't like my type too well."

Beka hugs Rogue. "I like you and your type fine. And if I have anything to say about it, this government will too." She whispers in her ear: "I've got your back. No matter what."

Rogue smiles. "That means a lot, truly. And if this government didn't like us, I think there's enough of us here that we could pull a coup d'état and kick 'em out."

There's a dangerous look in Beka's eye when she smiles, darkly. "Revolution is always an option. If it happens, I know who to turn to." Then the harshness leaves her voice and she's just plain-old Beka again. "It's not going to come to that. Me and Pheebs and a few others are working to make sure of that."

Rogue looks at Beka, her face a mixture of confusion and the tiniest bit of fear. "Well, I hope it doesn't come to that. Most people seem okay with us. And I trust you and Pheebs. Y'all are good people." She smiles, but files this away for future reference.

"Don't worry. There's nothing bad going to happen." There really isn't. I'm not stupid enough to start a revolution against this school. I'm just angry at Parker. "Pheebs is good people. Me, I'm just a girl. But I'm glad you like me."

"That's good to know. Just warn me of any impending doom, alright?" She winks. "Why wouldn't I like you?"

Beka shrugs. "Who knows? There seem to be a surfeit of reasons to choose from."
