[locked to veronica & lee]
After getting Lee's weird voicemail message, Veronica decides to swing by his dorm room and find out what's going on.
She knocks on his door.
"Lee, it's Veronica. Are you in there?"
She knocks on his door.
"Lee, it's Veronica. Are you in there?"

sluttishly dressed and with bad makeup, his happy expression fades. "Hey, Veronica. What's up?"no subject
"What's up is that I want to know what you meant by that message."
no subject
"The hallway light is a little bright, do you wanna come inside?" he asks, his voice a bit shakey.
no subject
"Well? Want to tell me what that message meant? Who exactly is," she pauses to remember his exact phrasing, "The Magnificent Flowery-Adjectived One?"

--You mean Janet, the Goddess of All Things Beautiful and --"
Lee sits down at once and puts his head between his knees.
In a small voice, "Could you bring me a glass of water, please? I'm sorry--"

She doesn't know Lee that well, but she can tell he's not acting like himself.
She hands him the cup of water and sits next to him, patting his shoulder gently.
"Lee, what's going on?" she asks in a soft voice.

"Veronica," he says, eyes a little wild, "I think I've been drugged."
no subject
"Take a deep breath and small sips, okay," she says.
She takes a few deep breaths of her own, because she remembers all too well how she felt when she learned she was drugged.
Once her nerves are calmed, she says, "Who do you think drugged you?"

Lee blinks and in this stage of fighting the pheromones (thanks to the natural ones of the girl he happens to like, by the lords!) he remembers flashes of what's happened in the past few days.
"I think it was Janet. But something's wrong with her. I think--", he thinks it but doesn't say it. It's a bit too ridiculous.

((So did Janet, actually. Shame she's not the one in control now.))no subject

"So, what you're saying is," she struggles for words that won't embarrass them both, "if you're around people you, um, like a lot, then you're normal?"

"Well, in that case, I can hang out as long as you'd like," she says somewhat shyly.

Instead he goes immediately to the sekrit cabinet and pulls out the ambrosia.

Lee pours two drinks and frankly says, "my fliratious tactics are far more old school."
no subject
"Oh, Lee, I'm sorry. I wasn't even thinking. I... well... I was drugged at a party at my old school and... well..." her voice trails off. She isn't really up for explaining the whole Duncan thing tonight.
She looks up and smiles a small smile.
"I think I like your flirtatious tactics, Lee Adama."
