*steps into the common room* Parker?

"Yeah?"

She doesn't turn away from the window.

Maybe you want to come in out of the rain?

"Matches my mood." She turns her head sharply. "Hey, do you hear..."

Squallin' awful music? Yeah, I do.

Rory comes across Parker, and sits down next to her without saying anything.

Parker doesn't say anything to Rory either. But she nods to her when she sits down.

"So. What's the deal with Beka?" she asks quietly.

She figures she can raise the question of the smear against Belthazor when she feels ready.

"Ask Beka. I got nothin'." Parker exhales a stream of smoke. "Except that sleeping with the enemy is the stupidest thing in the world. Especially when he's a serial killer." She shrugs, angry. "So I guess it's a piece with the rest of it." She sneers. "But hey, why ask me? I only keep pets."

She knocks ash of the cig, then turns, frowning.

Rory arches a brow, glad that her head feels well enough for her pull off her trademark move again.

"Are you going to the think at Logan's tomorrow, then?"

Thanks. It's still a bit raggedy, though.

"Oh," Rory says, smacking her forehead, "I completely forgot - I promised you a trim. Are you free tomorrow afternoon before the debate at Logan's?"

Rob stands across the campus (in a very not-supposed-to-be-there way) clad in a brown trenchcoat. Over his head, he holds a very, very heavy boombox. It is playing 80s music:

Parker starts to frown. "God, I hate that song. Where's it coming from?"

The boombox is fucking heavy.

She looks for something to throw at him.

"Be strong, Gordon," he mutters to himself, his arms getting tired...
